About the role
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician with an E&I background to operate and maintain gas facilities and pipelines. This will be working on a 2:2 FIFO roster based at our Phillip Creek compressor / gas processing facility where you will receive a competitive salary package which includes a FIFO allowance and opportunities for overcycle to increase your earning potential, as well as working with a down-to-earth and supportive team.
You will play an integral part within the maintenance team and will be working on state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities include
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment and gas processing equipment, including Cryogenic Distillation, Acid Gas Removal, Hot Oil Package, Reverse Osmosis, Gas Engine Alternators, Nitrogen Removal Unit, Liquid Methane Pumps
- Process Plant operator routine duties
- EEHA inspections
- Maintenance and calibration of equipment
- A wide variety of duties including electrical and instrumentation maintenance, fault finding and repairs, documentation and records maintenance
- Inter/intra state travel

About You
The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.
You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:
- Cert IV Instrumentation (essential)
- NT Electrical licence
- Cert III Process Plant Operations (desirable)
- Gas processing experience
- Gas Turbine driven Screw Compressor operation and maintenance (Solar Turbines)
- Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
