About the role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our Broadmeadows depot and provide invaluable assistance across various tasks crucial to ensuring we meet our client expectations and the smooth functioning of our operations.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Oversee and manage asset sheets related to both planned and reactive completed works to ensure a timely closure and claiming of works
  • Prepare and submit applications and consents for all planned works, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Coordinate pole staking activities, managing condemned and blocking poles as required and requested by Planners
  • Assist Planners in claiming for relevant activities
  • Create work packs for printing and distribution to Field Delivery teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Address customer queries, provide consultation as needed, and effectively triage issues to appropriate teams for resolution
  • Oversee Grounds Maintenance Contractor activities, including kiosk vegetation clearance, graffiti removal, etc
  • Liaise with suppliers, create purchase requisitions, generate purchase orders, and manage good receipting upon completion of works

About You

The successful applicant will require experience working as a maintenance coordination or a similar role, along with strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong business relationships with internal/external clients
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and SAP (desirable)
