About the role: 

As a Subcontractor Coordinator at Zinfra, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the service delivery of our subcontractors. You’ll ensure that all projects adhere to top-notch HSEQ standards, enhance quality, and drive commercial success. By managing the coordination and implementation of Subcontractor activities, you’ll help maintain and elevate our service excellence. Your role will involve effective administration and continuous improvement, aligning with Zinfra and client procedures to guarantee compliance and exceed expectations

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Analysing and monitoring the performance of the Zinfra Subcontractors where appropriate and implementing any corrective actions and improvement opportunities
  • Performing ongoing review of Subcontractor performance by monitoring of the delivery of Subcontractor KPIs & monthly reports
  • Auditing against Subcontractor documentation, HSE, Risk, Quality & management plans and the Vesi training matrix. Based on audit findings, the issuance of non-conformance , opportunity for improvement and corrective actions
  • Taking control of incident management for Subcontractor incidents
  • Performing ICAM Subcontractor investigations
  • Supporting safe work outcomes for all internal and external employees
  • Ensuring Subcontractors HSEQ obligations are being consistently met
  • Assisting in the implementation of Subcontractor management methodologies and processes
  • Absorbing learnings from completed activities and applying them in future planning and strategic plans
  • Managing and ensuring the management of subcontractor performance in the delivery of work to agreed contractual terms
  • Hold monthly meetings with Subcontractor groups
  • Communication of safety alerts

About you: 

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to hold a relevant trade and Utilities background and have a strong understanding of Victorian distribution networks and VESI requirements. Additionally, please highlight:

  • Time spent undertaking Inspections / Systems Audits and updating business systems
  • Previous power industry and civil construction work experience is an advantage
  • Familiarity with traffic and pedestrian management requirements (for auditing purposes)
  • Experience operating in an environment where there are tight timeframes and conflicting priorities and options
  • Exposure to ICAM training
