 About the Role

Are you organised, customer-focused, and able to stay calm when priorities change?

We are looking for a Faults Operations Facilitator to support and facilitate fault response activities across the electricity distribution network. In this varied role, you will facilitate the allocation of resources, monitor fault response activities, manage operational information and support the timely restoration of essential services to customers and communities.

It's a great opportunity to build a career in the utilities industry, gaining exposure to fault response, network operations, and critical infrastructure while working alongside experienced operational teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor field activities and help adjust resources to support operational priorities and restoration targets.
  • Act as a key liaison between field teams, Duty Officers, contractors, and other operational stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate work orders, fault records, and operational information within enterprise systems.
  • Support effective communication between operational teams to ensure information is timely, accurate and acted upon.
  • Support customer-focused restoration outcomes by monitoring progress, identifying emerging issues and escalating where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen fault response processes, resource utilisation and customer outcomes.

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-focused individual who enjoys working in a team environment and can remain calm when priorities change. You'll bring:

  • Experience in administration, coordination, scheduling, dispatch, customer service, or similar operational support roles.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with field crews, operational teams, contractors and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate and timely information.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and enterprise systems such as SAP (or similar).
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of electricity distribution operations and fault response.
