About the role

Join our dynamic team in Benalla as a Business Support Officer, where you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant program administration. You'll support the depot team and broader business by managing essential administrative tasks that drive the successful delivery of our unitised works program. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments, uphold company policies, and contribute to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities include

  • As a stand alone Business Support Officer based in Benalla, you’ll be instrumental in driving operational excellence across our depot and broader business unit. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Processing timesheets, purchase orders, invoicing, and goods receipting to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Supporting tender submissions by compiling bid documentation, schedules, and related materials.
  • Assisting project delivery through creation of project files, handover documentation, and compliance records.
  • Managing SAP and other systems to generate reports, maintain financial data, and support project tracking.
  • Recording and maintaining key business data including asset registers, tool lists, and employee details.
  • Providing cross-functional support to team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Driving business improvement initiatives through visual management reporting and performance tracking.
  • Ensuring compliance by preparing and closing work orders in systems such as Upvise and SAP.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional service.

Please ensure your resume highlights:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with SAP experience highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Experience communicating confidently across all levels with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Your ability to manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining high work standards.
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen and a customer-focused approach to every task.
