About the role
We are seeking an Operational Performance Officer to support effective governance, performance management and operational cadence across a complex utility contract. This is a hybrid role, based at either Tullamarine or Broadmeadows, supporting Operations, Planning & Performance and Program teams.
This role is coordination‑focused, playing a key role in maintaining governance forums, managing documentation, supporting performance reporting and ensuring the right information flows to the right people at the right time. A strong understanding of governance frameworks and operating rhythms is essential to success in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and maintain operational governance forums, including meetings, agendas, minutes, action tracking, and reporting rhythms
- Support performance management by coordinating KPI reporting, data collection, systems upkeep, and ensuring high levels of data integrity
- Provide administrative and coordination support across planning, operations, and program teams to enable effective delivery of the annual plan of works
- Assist with financial and delivery oversight by supporting budget tracking, cost reporting, forecasting inputs, and variation or risk monitoring
- Maintain contract documentation, governance systems, and processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and consistent information management

About You
You are highly organised, confident working with stakeholders and comfortable operating within structured governance environments. You will also possess the following:
- Experience supporting governance, performance management or operational delivery within a complex environment
- Strong administrative and coordination capability
- Clear, confident communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement capability
- Advanced working knowledge of performance and reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft Office suite, Power BI, SAP, SharePoint or similar)
- Understanding of financials, budgets or cost reporting in an operational context
- Utilities or infrastructure experience is desirable but not essential
