We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Projects & Construction team and play a key role in delivering essential Gas infrastructure transmission projects that support communities and industry.
This is an opportunity to lead meaningful projects from concept through to completion, working alongside talented professionals in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. You'll have the autonomy to drive outcomes while being supported by a team that values inclusion, development, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
You will bring people together, coordinate resources, manage risks, and build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups to deliver successful project outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading projects from initiation through to close-out.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared project goals.
- Managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and governance requirements.
- Supporting procurement activities and contractor engagement.
- Facilitating communication and ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
- Monitoring project performance and implementing improvements where required.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, quality, and collaboration.
- Mentoring and supporting the development of Project Engineers and emerging talent.
- Capturing lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in complex environments.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering positive project outcomes.
- Utilities experience, particularly within gas transmission and/or distribution, is highly regarded.
- Qualification in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certification (CPPM, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is advantageous.
