About the role

Are you ready to take your inspection expertise to new heights? We’re looking for a hands-on, detail focused Asset Inspector who’s passionate about safety, technology, and delivering meaningful work in the field.

Based at our Keysborough depot, you’ll join a supportive team that values your skills, encourages professional growth, and plays a crucial role in keeping our electrical distribution networks safe, reliable, and future‑ready.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Conduct asset inspection programs safely, on time, and within budget
  • Use industry leading digital tools, including drones, tablets, and cameras to capture and report on asset conditions
  • Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and materials are kept clean, well maintained, and in excellent working order
  • Provide timely project updates, including reports, photos of defects, and system updates for management and customers
  • Champion safety and wellbeing for yourself and your team
  • Actively participate in all company authorised training programs to continuously build your knowledge and capability

About You

  • Practical, hands-on experience in asset inspection, utilising digital tools such as drones, tablets, and cameras to conduct thorough field assessments
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely in changing environments, meeting the physical requirements of the role
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal customers and suppliers across all levels of the business

Mandatory requirements:

  • Certificate II in Asset Inspection
  • White/Blue/Red Card
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Drone operator licence & EWI Workers Card (highly desirable)
