About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join our team at our Mornington depot for a fixed term of up to 12 months.

In this role you will be responsible for managing invoices, overseeing claims and purchase orders, as well as providing general administrative support. Your support will be essential to ensuring smooth and efficient management of day-to-day business activities.

Key Responsibilities include

  • A strong understanding of procurement and purchasing activities, policies and protocols
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors while managing business information systems
  • A sound understanding of financial principles and methodologies
  • Clear understanding of commercial practices specific to the Contracting Industry

About You

We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in managing invoices and purchase orders, who can consistently deliver fast and accurate data entry while maintaining a proactive and positive approach.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and have strong computer literacy, with experience using SAP being highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities effectively
