About the roles

We are currently recruiting for a Civil Project Engineer to join our skilled team due to our expanding project portfolio in New South Wales.

We are looking for experienced project delivery professionals, to lead the technical aspects across multiple areas in the project management framework. You will be exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery.

In these roles you will deliver major portions of large, complex Civil projects and/or entire low risk Civil projects.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary on offer.

This projects scope will see you work on projects throughout New South Wales with the typical individual project value being between $5M and $35M. 

When working regionally there will be a 10:4 or 11:3 roster and you will be paid a 25% salary uplift as well as a living away from home allowance.

Key Responsibilities include

• Managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety and environmental management
• Managing contracts, scope, procurement, risk and opportunity, stakeholder communications and project integration
• Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities
• Helping to document the project scope
• Identifying and assisting with resolution of scope discrepancies
• Identifying scope gaps between sub and head contracts
• Collating data and compile upstream claims
• Compiling subcontract packages
• Maintaining site quality records and contributing to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR and NCR register
• Attending post tender interviews
• Compiling and reviewing subcontract packages

About You

• Technical qualification relating to the industry – Civil Engineering or Construction related Degree
• Project Management and/or Construction Management experience, delivering design and construction works
• Experience with managing all facets of project delivery across multiple projects from initiation to closeout
