About the role

The primary focus of the Skilled Labourer is to assist your colleagues from a variety of disciplines. As a field based role the standard working hours are 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities include

  • Set up and prepare construction sites
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Dig Trenches, laying and installing cables, conduit, pipes in accordance with client specifications
  • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment
  • Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt and spotting for underground services
  • Ensure you maintain a clean job site whilst ensuring you are complying with the all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management

About You

The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.

  • Hold a valid Australian drivers licence (HR highly desirable)
  • White/Blue Card (OHS construction induction card)
  • First Aid certificate – highly desirable
  • Forklift, Dogging certificate – highly desirable
  • Confined Space – highly desirable
