About the Role

We're looking for a Gas Service Technician to join our team supporting gas networks and facilities across the ACT and Nowra region. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps homes, businesses, and communities connected to a safe and reliable gas supply.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance across gas networks and facilities
- Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure the safe and reliable operation of gas assets
- Conduct risk assessments and work in accordance with safety procedures and industry standards
- Identify and report network and asset defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Support metering activities during peak periods as required
- Participate in occasional interstate travel for training and operational requirements
Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, plus participation in an on-call roster (approximately 1 in 4 weeks).

About You
You're a safety-focused and customer-minded tradesperson who enjoys practical problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality work. You will bring:
- Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher) and/or a recognised Plumbing trade qualification
- Experience in plumbing, drainage, utilities, maintenance, civil construction, or underground infrastructure
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness training
- Flexibility to participate in an after-hours on-call roster and occasional overtime
