About the role
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support warehouse and inventory operations across our NSW and Victorian assets. Working closely with operations and project teams, you’ll help ensure materials are well managed, accessible, and aligned to support critical energy infrastructure.
You will contribute to key, forward focused initiatives, including projects like the Western Sydney Green Gas Project, while collaborating with teams across the business to deliver essential services.
Based at our Greystanes (NSW) or Hume (ACT) depot, this role supports Gas Transmission Operations and Projects across regional NSW and Victoria, with regular interstate travel of approximately one week per month.
Key Responsibilities include
You will act as the link between warehouse operations and field delivery teams—ensuring materials are where they need to be, exactly when they’re needed.
- Partner with field, engineering, and project teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Coordinate materials for maintenance and project delivery
- Manage stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory movements
- Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records using inventory systems (SAP/WMS)
- Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes

About You
You’re a team player with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence in a warehouse environment, along with a can do attitude and can work independently. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in warehousing and inventory controls and processes
- Current forklift license, construction white card and valid Australian driver’s license
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques, Dangerous Goods and WHS practices
- Familiarity with SAP or other WMS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Qualifications in Warehouse and or Inventory management (desirable)
