About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Pipelayer to join our Canberra team. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll work on delivering critical underground infrastructure across the ACT and surrounding regions. You’ll be part of a crew building essential utility networks that keep communities running.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Construct and install underground pipework and mains
  • Read and interpret construction plans and drawings
  • Work alongside surveyors to ensure accurate alignment
  • Liaise with builders, plumbers, utility providers, and property owners
  • Collaborate with internal teams including schedulers, field officers, and construction leaders

Roster: Monday to Friday with ad-hoc weekend work as required.

 About You

  • Experience in pipe laying, trenching, excavation, and backfilling
  • Hold relevant tickets: White Card, Traffic Management, Asbestos Awareness
  • Excavator and/or HydroVac experience (desirable)
  • MR/HR licence (advantageous)
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
  • Comfortable working outdoors and across different sites
