Ready to make a real difference? Join us as a Works Ready Coordinator at our Glen Waverley depot and play a vital role in shaping successful projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

The Works Ready Coordinator is responsible for ensuring every work package is thoroughly prepared and planned to enable the successful delivery of the works program. This involves developing and maintaining robust processes, systems, and disciplines that drive efficiency and consistency across program delivery.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Preparation and planning of work packages to ensure all activities are ready for execution before handover to the Delivery Manager
  • Lead the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved by providing a high level of advice and support
  • Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to manage them proactively
  • Manage customer expectations while meeting the operational needs of the business
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in data capture, including undertaking ad hoc system checks and completing end of month reconciliations
  • Compile and analyse data to support reporting requirements related to works planning and delivery

About You

To be considered for this role, you will require a strong knowledge of c operational standards for electrical networks, including Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements, combined with expertise in safe work practices, OHS&E principles, Australian Standards, and practical application of legal, financial, quality, and risk management concepts.

  • Certificate III in ESI cable jointing (highly desirable), Project Management (or equivalent), along with a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Experience in the preparation and lodgment of switching sheets 
  • Understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to maintenance planning 
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word/Excel, and other planning or scheduling systems will be highly regarded.
