About the role

Ready to make a real difference? Join us as a Works Planner (Works Ready Coordinator) at our Glen Waverley depot, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are set up for safe, efficient and on‑time delivery.

In this role, you'll take ownership of preparing and planning every work package, ensuring all elements are ready before handover to the Delivery Manager. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise planning, minimise risks, and keep our works program moving seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Prepare and plan work packages to ensure all activities are ready for execution prior to handover
  • Lead and support the team to achieve organisational goals, providing high quality advice and guidance
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
  • Manage customer expectations while balancing operational priorities
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data capture, including ad hoc system checks and end of month reconciliations
  • Compile and analyse data to support reporting requirements across works planning and delivery

About You

  • Solid understanding of operational standards for electrical networks, ideally including Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices, OHS&E principles, Australian Standards, and practical application of legal, financial, quality, and risk management concepts
  • Experience preparing and lodging switching sheets
  • Certificate III in ESI cable jointing and/or Project Management (or equivalent)
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word/Excel, and other planning or scheduling systems is highly regarded
