About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Business Support Officer, where you'll play a key role in delivering smooth and compliant program administration. Supporting both the depot team and broader business, you'll manage essential administrative tasks to ensure the successful delivery of our unitised works program.

This role requires travel between our Bairnsdale and Sale depots to provide consistent on-site support. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities include

As a member of our team, you’ll be instrumental in driving operational excellence across our depot and broader business unit. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative, operational, and transactional support to enable smooth day‑to‑day business operations
  • Provide depot and workplace support, including coordination of building, facilities, and day‑to‑day needs
  • Create purchase orders and complete goods receipting in SAP and related systems
  • Assist with invoicing processes and ensure required documentation is accurate and complete
  • Order PPE, and consumables to support operational and office requirements
  • Check and validate timesheets, following up with team members as required
  • Support end‑of‑month activities by assisting with transaction checks and outstanding items
  • Use SAP and other business systems (Upvise) at a user level to enter, track, and retrieve information
  • Provide general administrative and cross‑functional support to team members and Delivery Managers
  • Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment

You’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting business operations. With strong computer literacy and a collaborative mindset, you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy balancing multiple priorities. Your excellent communication skills and commercial awareness make you a trusted team member who’s always ready to contribute to continuous improvement and customer-focused outcomes.

Please ensure your resume highlights:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong capability in Excel and confidence using Word and related tools
  • Experience using SAP or similar business systems at a transactional or user level (highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and transactional processing
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive approach to contributing to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
  • Confident using business systems and digital tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
