About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Transmission Lineworker to join our North West Maintenance Contract team based out of our Moorabool depot.

You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and fault response of AusNet Transmission Electricity Line Assets.

The role has coverage across Victoria and the incumbents will be required to travel within the state to other AusNet sites, overnight stay’s will be required and you will need to be open to working on-call.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
  • Climbing of transmission structures
  • Undertake maintenance inspections of electricity transmission networks in accordance with Client/Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
  • Undertake minor ancillary works as required

About You

The successful applicant will bring strong problem-solving skills, thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments, and work productively as part of a team. You’re flexible with travel requirements, maintain a proactive, engaging approach to achieving outstanding outcomes.

  • Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead and Electrical Lineworker Licence
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • OHS Construction Induction card (White/Blue card)
  • ESI Worker; High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogger)
  • Work at Heights and Rescue certification
  • CPR certification
