We’re looking for an experienced Field Services Manager to lead our Tasmania field services team and help shape the next chapter of our operations across the state.

Reporting to the State Manager – Tasmania, you’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of field services across electrical network maintenance programs.

You’ll be trusted to:
- Lead, coach and mentor a diverse field services team.
- Build a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture.
- Champion safety and ensure our people have the training, capability and support they need to go home safely every day.
- Plan and deliver maintenance programs while balancing people, customer and commercial priorities.
- Develop capability and create meaningful opportunities for your team to grow.
- Identify and nurture future leaders through effective succession planning.
- Manage operational budgets, CAPEX and OPEX performance.
- Ensure our resources, people and equipment are aligned to business priorities.
- Drive performance against agreed KPIs, contractual commitments and customer expectations.
- Turn insights and learnings into practical improvements across systems, processes and ways of working.
- Contribute to our broader strategy and the continued growth of our Tasmanian operations.
We’re looking for a leader who brings more than technical expertise
You’ll ideally bring 10+ years’ management experience and a background in electrical networks, utilities, infrastructure, engineering or a related operational environment.
You’ll also need:
- A trade or engineering qualification.
- Demonstrated experience developing and embedding strong safety practices.
- Experience managing budgets, cost centres, CAPEX and OPEX.
- Strong resource planning and workforce management capability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience in strategic planning, continuous improvement, operational transformation or Lean Six Sigma will be highly regarded.
