Project Manager – GAS  

Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. For our partners our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of their electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets. 

About the role:

The Project Manager performs all project management and project leadership responsibilities on multiple Gas Services Non-Routine projects valued up to $30M. This includes planning, executing, controlling and closing of all aspects of a project, consistent with Jemena’s Project Management Methodology to successfully deliver projects.

Projects include CAPEX and OPEX projects as defined in Jemena’s Asset Management Plans and/or the Capital Operating Works Plan (COWP). These projects cover asset protection projects, asset relocation projects and/or asset development projects for Jemena, major developers or Government authorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Competent at operating in a safe working environment and the implementation of HSE initiatives and processes.
  • Engaging, collaborating and knowledge sharing with project team and stakeholders.
  • Directing and influencing of project team and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen taking into account business strategy.
  • You will ensure Continuous improvements & Information monitoring are up to standards.
  • Competent in effectively identifying, assessing and managing risks.

About you:

  • Engineering or construction project management experience. (Preferred experience delivering utility-based projects)
  • Preferred - Bachelor of Engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia).
  • Required or ability to obtain - Diploma of Project Management or better.
  • Knowledge and application of Project Management methodology (ie. PMBOK or similar).
