About the role

As a Delivery Manager for the underground team on the UE NSA contract, you'll bring people together to achieve shared goals, support team growth, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of work. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, optimise resources, and build strong partnerships — all while balancing operational priorities with a people-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Lead and support a diverse team of Works Ready Coordinators, Crew Leaders, Field Staff and Schedulers
  • Deliver work programs on schedule and within budget
  • Identify and manage operational risks with a strong safety focus
  • Maximise the use of field resources and equipment utilisation
  • Coach, mentor, and develop individuals and teams to reach their full potential
  • Review actual activities against plan, apply short interval controls, and use continuous improvement tools to address recurring issues and drive productivity

About You

You’re an empowering leader who thrives on collaboration and delivering results through people. With a solid background in underground and electrical networks, you confidently manage complex programs while supporting your team to succeed.

  • Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling, and operational techniques and standards related to electrical networks, specifically underground cable installations
  • An excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to the Electrical Supply Industry
  • A clear communicator with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Tech-savvy and experienced with Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence
