About the role
The Senior Data & Reporting Analyst, whose role reports to the Operational & Performance Manager, has the following objectives:
- Supporting the Operational & Performance Manager in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
- Supporting or leading activities ranging from discovery, hypothesis development, data profiling and engineering, application of algorithms, results interpretation, and data visualisation.
- Supporting the improvement of stakeholder engagement within the Zinfra enterprise.
- Examining current end-to-end reporting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively assessing, articulating, and managing risks that could impact the success of solution implementation.
- Managing data in relation to all business reporting and analytics.
- Supporting the business unit with reports and analytics as required to drive agile, data-driven decision-making.
- Working with power users to achieve high-quality, centralised datasets and reporting automation.

About You
- An Industrial Engineering graduate or a similar qualification is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and general Microsoft Office programs.
- Good knowledge of gas and electricity business operations and processes, including field operations.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP ERP systems and data warehousing platforms such as SAP HANA and BW.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and M languages (formulae and queries).
- Hands-on experience using cloud analytics platforms (e.g. Databricks on AWS or equivalent), including working with notebooks, governed datasets (e.g. Delta tables), and collaborating with Data Engineering to source and prepare data.
- Knowledge of data migration and database integration.
- Knowledge and experience in SAP reporting tools, such as BusinessObjects (Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence), SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI.
