The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst (Data) to join our Zenitas team. You have a keen interest in assisting businesses in navigating through complex data structures to derive meaningful insights from data. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify, define, and develop detailed requirements, and collaborate with developers to translate these requirements into actionable insights that facilitate informed decision-making.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with business users to define and develop detailed requirements.
  • Help design and maintain BI solutions with a focus on data modelling, transformation, migration, and profiling.
  • Communicate complex information in an easily digestible format tailored to the audience.
  • Set priorities, meet deadlines, and create various documents including data dictionary, technical specifications, use cases, and business processes.
  • Plan and implement and manage data product testing framework and ongoing enhancements.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of MS Office and other related tools.
  • Work independently with initiatives that are required to streamline end to end processes.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills derived from a business analyst background.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • 2-3 years of BA experience in an enjoinment with Power BI/ Tableau and SQL.
  • Substantial relevant experience in defining and developing detailed requirements and translating them into multi-dimensional data models.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining BI solutions, particularly in large and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for adapting to new technologies and changing business requirements.

  • National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Screen or willingness to obtain
  • Evidence of work rights
