As the anatomy, physiology and human development Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in helping students/ākonga gain understanding of the human body across the life span. You’ll be shaping curious minds, offering personalised support, and guiding students/ākonga through the complexities of these sciences. Whether you’re, leading classroom sessions, tutoring online, or assisting with simulation experiences, you’ll create an environment where learning is interactive, engaging, and exciting.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Dynamic Learning Sessions: Facilitate group tutoring, interactive study sessions, and hands-on activities, ensuring students not only understand anatomy, physiology and Human Development but also gain confidence in applying their knowledge.
- Personalised Support: Offer tailored tutoring for students/ākonga, adapting to their unique learning styles and academic needs.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Academy Team: Work alongside passionate nursing educators and healthcare professionals, exchanging ideas and building a supportive learning community.
- Foster Curiosity and Confidence: Make complex topics approachable and fun by breaking them down into digestible, relatable concepts. Help student/ākonga build the confidence they need to excel in their courses and beyond.
Who You Are:
- Anatomy, physiology and human development Enthusiast: You have a deep knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and human development and a passion for sharing your expertise.
- Ideally, you are a registered nurse or health professional, bringing clinical expertise and real-world experience to enrich student learning.
- A Clear Communicator: Whether you’re explaining complex topics or answering questions, you’re able to break things down in a way that makes sense.
- Supportive and Approachable: You enjoy helping others succeed and have a knack for creating a positive, encouraging learning environment.
- Flexible and Creative: You thrive in a dynamic teaching environment, adapting to different learning needs and using creative methods to keep students engaged.
