Director

About the Role

As Director, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving OSHC service, ensuring high-quality educational programs, strong regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 9:00am and 1:00pm - 6:00pm
• Friday: 9:30am - 6:00pm

This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with children before and after school, while leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and engaging programs.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Create engaging programs inspired by children's interests and voices.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations.
• Champion child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.
• Build strong relationships with families, schools, and the wider community.
• Drive continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Manage operational requirements, enrolments, attendance, and risk management processes.
• Act as the Nominated Supervisor and educational leader for the service.

About You

You're a confident and inspiring leader who is passionate about children's learning and development. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy supporting and developing others, and are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families.

You bring:

• Experience in OSHC, Early Childhood Education, or School Age Care.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• A genuine passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Essential Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)
• Current CPR Certificate
• CHCPRT025 Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk
• Diploma of School Age Education and Care, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent approved qualification
• Relevant industry experience
