We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learn to Swim Instructor to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will teach swimming skills to students of all ages and abilities, helping them build confidence and competence in the water.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons for students across all skill levels
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development
- Follow all aquatic facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Assist with pool deck supervision as required
Requirements
- Current Learn to Swim Instructor qualification or equivalent certification
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with children and adults of varying abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Previous experience in aquatic instruction is highly regarded
