Lifeguard

We are looking for a dedicated and safety-focused Casual Pool Lifeguard to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all patrons using our aquatic facilities. This is a casual position, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and patrons
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and first aid
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and facilities
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
• Assist with the setup and pack-down of aquatic programs and activities
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily pool operations

Requirements

• Current and valid Pool Lifeguard certification
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
