Lifeguard

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Pool Lifeguards to join our casual pool on an as-needed basis. If you are passionate about water safety and enjoy working in a dynamic aquatic environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers and enforce pool rules to ensure a safe aquatic environment
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid
• Conduct regular pool inspections and monitor water conditions
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, attendance, and pool maintenance activities
• Set up and pack down pool equipment as required
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and visitors
• Assist with the delivery of aquatic programs and activities when required

Requirements

• Current Pool Lifeguard qualification (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, public holidays, and early mornings
