Learn to Play - Basketball

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Learn to Play Basketball Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will introduce players of all ages and skill levels to the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging beginner basketball sessions
• Teach fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game rules
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all participants
• Adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and ability levels
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are safe and well-maintained

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience coaching or instructing basketball at any level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire participants of varying abilities
• Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Working With Children Check (or equivalent) as required
• Relevant coaching accreditation is highly regarded
