Part Time Lifeguard Friday 5am to 1 pm and Saturday 1230 to 6.30

Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre (KFAC)

As a Part-Time Lifeguard at Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all aquatic centre users. You will actively supervise pool areas, respond to emergencies, enforce safety standards, and deliver excellent customer service to members and guests. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to remain focused for extended periods, and a commitment to safeguarding and community wellbeing. Working as part of the aquatic operations team, you will help ensure a positive experience for patrons while supporting the values and mission of the Y NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

• Active pool surveillance and patron supervision.
• Responding to emergencies and administering first aid when required.
• Promoting and enforcing aquatic safety procedures.
• Delivering friendly, professional customer service.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive aquatic environment.

Essential qualifications: Current Pool Lifeguard Licence, First Aid certification, and CPR certification.
