👧👦 About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you'll help create a welcoming environment where children feel safe, included and inspired to learn, play and thrive.

✅ Support engaging play-based activities for children aged 5–12 years

✅ Actively supervise children and promote their wellbeing and safety

✅ Build positive relationships with children, families and the school community

✅ Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and resources

✅ Contribute to a safe, inclusive and child-focused environment

✅ Work collaboratively with a supportive team of educators

✅ Follow National Quality Framework and safeguarding requirements.

⏰ What We Offer

Regular rostered hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 2:00pm – 5:45pm
  • Consistent after-school shifts during school terms
  • Opportunities for additional morning and holiday program shifts available

🎯 We're Looking For

We welcome applications from:

Level 1 – Introductory Educators

  • New to OSHC or children's services
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Reliable and eager to learn

Level 2 – Developing Educators

  • Some experience working with children
  • Confident supporting activities and engaging with families

Level 3–4 – Qualified & Experienced Educators

  • Certificate III or higher qualification
  • Strong understanding of child development and quality practice
  • Able to plan, facilitate and support engaging experiences for children.

✅ Essential Requirements

  • Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection training (Foundational and Advanced)
  • Qualification in Children's Services, Education, Community Services, Teaching, OSHC or a related field (or currently studying)
  • Genuine passion for supporting children to thrive.
