About Our Children's Services Team

We are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 40 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before- and after-school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning. 

Every day, our team runs programs that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment.

About the role

This role is based on the NSW Central Coast and Newcastle region, with a requirement to attend the Pennant Hills Head Office on a fortnightly basis for leadership meetings and events.

This pivotal role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and financial sustainability across a designated region. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other Regional Managers, driving continuous improvement and safeguarding outcomes for children and young people.

  • Lead multi-site operations to deliver safe, high-quality, and compliant services.
  • Mentor and coach Coordinators to uplift service delivery and team performance.
  • Ensure all services meet or exceed National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Manage budgets and drive financial performance across sites.
  • Build strong relationships with school principals, P&Cs, and community stakeholders.
  • Champion child safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including HR, finance, risk, and marketing.

What You'll Bring

You a dynamic leader passionate about delivering high-quality education and care services for children? The Y NSW is seeking a Regional Manager, Children's Services to lead and inspire teams across Early Learning Centres, Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), and Vacation Care services.

  • Minimum 3+ years' leadership experience in Children's Services or a related field.
  • Proven success in multi-site management and team development.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Law, Regulations, NQF, MTOP, and EYLF.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Current certifications in:
  • First Aid
  • CPR
  • Asthma
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Child Protection (CHCPRT001/025)
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check and Driver's Licence.
  • Desirable: Bachelor's or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

$125k Base + $10k Car Allowance Plus Superannuation & Benefits
