At Ku-ring-gai Fitness & Aquatic Centre, our lifeguards are more than pool supervisors — they're the calm, confident professionals who help keep children, families and community members safe in and around the water.

Every shift is different. From active pool supervision and water safety education to emergency response and customer service, lifeguards play a critical role in creating safe, welcoming and enjoyable aquatic environments for everyone.

🛟What Does a Pool Lifeguard Do?

As a lifeguard, you'll:

• Actively supervise pools and surrounding aquatic environments
• Promote safe behaviours and educate patrons on water safety
• Respond to emergencies and provide First Aid when required
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards, incidents and concerns
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming facility
• Deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse community

This is a role for people who stay alert, communicate confidently and enjoy making a positive difference every day.

✅ Already Qualified?

We'd love to hear from you if you hold:

• Current Pool Lifeguard Licence (RLSSA or equivalent)
• Current First Aid qualification
• Current CPR certification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety

You don't need previous lifeguard experience to register your interest.
