At The Y Bankstown City, no two days are the same. You’ll welcome a diverse community enjoying gymnastics programs, school holiday activities, community programs and events, all within a vibrant, family-focused centre designed to connect people of all ages.
From supporting parents and children through enrolments to helping members navigate programs and facilities, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, inclusive experience at the front desk.
Centre Opening Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 8:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
- Sunday: 9:00am – 10:30am

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members and visitors—creating positive experiences every day at the front desk and over the phone.
✅ What you’ll be doing
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
- Respond to enquiries about programs, bookings and memberships
- Support front desk operations and daily centre activities
- Process POS transactions and handle cash accurately
- Respond to feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment

- Friendly, approachable and customer‑focused attitude
- Experience in customer service, reception or administration
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy, community‑focused environment
- Basic computer skills
- CPR / First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people, including compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (as required)
