We're seeking a passionate permanent part-time educator to join our OSHC services in Burwood. This exciting 35-hour position offers the perfect work-life balance with split shifts Monday to Friday: 7:00-10:00 AM and 2:00-6:00 PM. Please note: availability for this specific schedule is essential for consideration.
As one of our Out-of-School-Hours Educators, you'll be the sharp mind and friendly face inspiring the next generation! You'll act as both teacher and role-model to students from over 50 NSW schools, delivering engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services.

What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with service coordinators to build fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
- Help design calendars of inclusive, exciting program activities
- Join over 200 educators supporting children across NSW, reporting to OSHC centre coordinators
- Follow development pathways to learn new skills and build your career
- Oversee, lead and develop quality reflective practices for delivering approved learning frameworks and National Quality Standards
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds
- Work closely with children and parents, sharing your wisdom, support and passions

Essential Requirements
- Experience supervising and interacting with children
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Strong curriculum understanding or willingness to learn
- Ability to support educators and encourage creative thinking
- Availability for Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care hours
- Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide emergency response in education and care setting
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check (we'll cover the cost!)
Highly Desirable
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (working towards Diploma preferred)
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- CHCPRT025 - Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk
