What You'll Be Doing

As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in our aquatic programs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, safe, and progressive swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Assessing student progress and adapting lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
  • Creating a fun, encouraging, and inclusive environment where every student feels motivated to succeed
  • Maintaining the highest standards of water safety and supervision at all times
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and goals
  • Upholding all aquatic facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who brings energy, empathy, and expertise to the pool deck every single day. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current and recognised swimming teaching qualification
  • A valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, positive, and encouraging teaching style
  • The ability to work flexibly across mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • A genuine passion for aquatics and community wellbeing
