We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our dynamic aquatic and fitness center team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others achieve their health and wellness goals while providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and visitors with inquiries and facility information
• Process membership registrations, renewals, and cancellations
• Handle cash transactions, payments, and maintain accurate records
• Monitor facility access and ensure member safety protocols are followed
• Coordinate class bookings and facility reservations
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and common areas
• Assist with promotional activities and membership drives
• Support pool and fitness staff with administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency and cash handling experience
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fitness or recreation industry
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Awareness of fitness programs and aquatic activities

Work Environment

This position operates in a busy aquatic and fitness facility environment. You will work at the front desk reception area and may need to move throughout the facility to assist customers. The role requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
