We seek a permanent part-time educator for children at our OSHC services in Burwood.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 2:30 to 5:30 PM
You must be available for the required schedule for your application to be considered.
Our Out-of-School-Hours Educators are the sharp minds and friendly faces inspiring and influencing the next generation of young people. Acting as both teacher and role-model to young students from over 50 NSW Schools, they provide engaging, exciting and interactive activities through our Before School, After School and Vacation Care services. As a member of our OSHC family, you'll be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of developing young minds, while supporting our OSHC Coordinators to ensure our services stay the very best they can be. You'll work closely with the children and their families, sharing your wisdom, support and passions with them to help them grow.

About your new role
- You will work in collaboration with the service coordinator to build and provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
- You will help design a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program activities
- Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centres, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW
- You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career
- To oversee, lead, and develop quality reflective practices for delivering the approved learning frameworks and the National Quality Standard to a high standard

- Suitably qualified and have experience in leading the development and implementation of the educational program or curriculum in the service
- Thorough understanding of the approved learning frameworks (National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place V.2.) to be able to guide and inspire educators in their planning and reflection, and to mentor colleagues in their implementation practices
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience supervising and interacting with children
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- A strong understanding of the curriculum or a willingness to learn
- Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR (Mandatory)
- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and working towards a Diploma, Diploma or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
- Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 (Desirable)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Police Check (paid for by Y NSW)

We are looking for a customer service driven educator to join the team across NSW , hours will consist of 6:20AM - 8:50AM and 2:30PM - 5:30PM, Monday to Friday, and will also involve Vacation Care program during school holidays.
