We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Group Fitness Yoga Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga principles and techniques, combined with the ability to inspire and motivate participants of all fitness levels in a group setting. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deliver engaging group yoga classes that cater to a diverse range of fitness levels and abilities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants
- Demonstrate proper yoga poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices
- Provide clear instruction and hands-on guidance to ensure correct form and prevent injury
- Modify poses and sequences to accommodate participants with varying physical limitations or experience levels
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of yoga trends, techniques, and best practices
- Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement
- Ensure all equipment and studio spaces are clean, organised, and maintained to the highest standards
- Adhere to all health, safety, and facility policies and procedures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, colleagues, and management
Required Qualifications
- Recognised Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification of 200 hours or more from an accredited institution
- Current registration with a recognised yoga or fitness governing body
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Proven experience teaching group yoga classes in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of safe movement

- High level of enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit the needs of diverse groups
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals
- Experience with multiple yoga disciplines such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, or Restorative yoga is highly regarded
