We have an excellent opportunity for Casual Educators to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services at Dee Why on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Working alongside our established teams at Forestville and Cromer, we are seeking an experienced educator ready to advance their career with the Y.

Schedule Requirements

You will need to be available for a minimum of 3 afternoon shifts per week to be considered for this role.


About your new role 

 

  • You will provide fun and engaging activities for primary school-age children
  • Reporting to the Coordinators of our OSHC centers, you will be one of over 200 educators who support children across NSW.
  • You will be able to follow our development pathways to learn new skills and build your career

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

 

  • Experience supervising and interacting with children
  • Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
  • A strong understanding of the curriculum or willing to learn
  • Current First Aid HLTAID012 - Provide an emergency response in an education and care setting and CPR
  • Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 (Desirable)
  • Valid Working with Children Check 
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y
