Food Services Assistant

35 hours per week available

Shifts are 10am to 3pm

7 days per week

Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers Agreement 2021-2025

Classification: IN13 – IN14 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Services Assistant to join our Hotel & Food Services team. In this role, you will help prepare, deliver, and serve meals to residents and patients while ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

·       Meal preparation support: assist with basic food handling and plating.

·       Meal delivery: distribute meals to wards and collect trays.

·       Cleaning duties: maintain kitchen and dining areas to strict hygiene standards.

·       Team collaboration: work closely with our cook, dietitian, and nursing staff.

About You

·       Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.

·       Knowledge of food safety standards (training provided if required).

·       Ability to work weekends.

·       Experience in hospitality within a healthcare facility is desirable but not essential.
