Yarrawonga Health is seeking a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Clinical Services team in a 16-hour per week fixed-term leave relief position (weekend work required )from 26 October to 22 November 2026, with the opportunity to also join our casual pool beyond the fixed-term period.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse regional clinical environment, providing advanced clinical care while working autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
About the role
As a Nurse Practitioner at Yarrawonga Health, you will provide advanced clinical practice across a broad range of patient populations and settings. The role includes assessment and management of patients, referral to other health professionals, prescribing medications, and ordering, interpreting and acting on diagnostic investigations within your credentialed scope of practice.
You may work across:
- Urgent Care Centre presentations
- General medical and subacute ward patients
- Transitional Care Program and maintenance care
- Hospital in the Home
- Residential aged care
- Opportunities to support outpatient services
You will be supported to provide innovative and flexible care that complements the broader health care team, while contributing to quality improvement, research, education and clinical leadership.
What you will bring
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who:
- Is currently registered and endorsed with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant discipline.
- Has current credentialing, or is able to meet Yarrawonga Health's credentialing requirements.
- Can work confidently and autonomously within an advanced and extended clinical scope.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Promotes reflective and evidence-informed clinical practice.
- Is committed to delivering safe, person-centred and high-quality care.
- Is passionate about supporting and developing colleagues through mentoring, education and role modelling.
