About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Quality and Safety, this pivotal role supports clinical leaders and staff in driving Yarrawonga Health’s quality and risk systems. You'll help promote a culture of safety and excellence through effective coordination of quality improvement initiatives, incident management, consumer feedback, and accreditation processes.

This is a highly impactful role where your work will directly contribute to safer, patient/resident-centred care across our acute, aged care, and community services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support accreditation and compliance processes, including Aged Care and National Standards.
  • Lead and engage teams in continuous quality improvement and clinical governance.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to meet State, National, and peer targets.
  • Manage quality systems including incident reporting (VHIMS), complaints, compliments, and feedback.
  • Facilitate the Clinical Quality and Safety Committee and participate in governance activities.
  • Oversee policy management and support departments in maintaining compliance.
  • Support staff education in incident management and quality systems.

About You

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum five years’ post-graduate clinical experience (nursing, allied health, or other).
  • Strong leadership skills and experience driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in managing accreditation processes and audit activities.
  • Skilled in engaging multidisciplinary teams in change and quality projects.
  • Data analysis experience and ability to implement evidence-based improvements.
  • Knowledge of VHIMS and incident management frameworks.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality or Healthcare Management.
  • Postgraduate or Master’s level education.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
