We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee a diverse portfolio across Community, Allied Health, Acute and Residential Aged Care services. Reporting directly to the Executive Director Clinical Services, this role is responsible for leading high-quality, person-centred services while supporting innovation, strategic growth, workforce development and community engagement.

About the Role
The Operational Director Community Services provides strategic and operational leadership across Community and Allied Health programs, ensuring services are safe, sustainable, responsive and aligned with organisational goals.
The role works closely with multidisciplinary teams, external stakeholders and community groups to deliver evidence-based care, strengthen partnerships, support service development and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Community and Allied Health services across Yarrawonga Health
- Drive strategic planning, service development, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of person-centred care, professionalism, collaboration and evidence-based practice
- Oversee quality, governance, accreditation and compliance requirements
- Manage program budgets, reporting and funding requirements
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, community groups and external stakeholders
- Support workforce development, performance management and staff engagement
- Identify opportunities for service growth, health promotion and future funding initiatives
About You
You will be an experienced healthcare leader with strong operational and people management skills, along with a passion for rural health and community-focused care.
Essential
- Degree qualification in Allied Health or Nursing
- Demonstrated leadership experience across Allied Health and/or Nursing services
- Experience within Acute, Residential Aged Care and Community settings
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current satisfactory Police Check
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership or Management
- Understanding of contemporary healthcare delivery and health promotion principles
- Experience in project management, funding submissions and service development
- Knowledge of quality, governance and accreditation frameworks
