About the Role
Yarrawonga Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Workers to join our Aged Care team. In this rewarding role, youβll support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents across our aged care facilities β Karana, Allawah, and Warrina.
Youβll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful environment while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Supporting residentsβ physical and emotional well-being through positive interactions
- Maintaining high standards of care, safety, and respect in all aspects of your work
We offer flexibility with shifts across mornings, afternoons, and some nights, Monday through Sunday, to support a healthy work-life balance.
As Yarrawonga Health provides 24/7 care, you must be available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Selection Criteria
Essential (All Applicants):
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
Desirable (Qualified Applicants):
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) β CHC33021 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a health, aged care, or support role
- Current Level 1 First Aid Certificate
