About the Role

Yarrawonga Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Workers to join our Aged Care team. In this rewarding role, you’ll support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents across our aged care facilities – Karana, Allawah, and Warrina.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful environment while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Supporting residents’ physical and emotional well-being through positive interactions
• Maintaining high standards of care, safety, and respect in all aspects of your work

We offer flexibility with shifts across mornings, afternoons, and some nights, Monday through Sunday, to support a healthy work-life balance.

As Yarrawonga Health provides 24/7 care, you must be available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Selection Criteria

Essential (All Applicants):

• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable (Qualified Applicants):

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) – CHC33021 or equivalent
• Previous experience in a health, aged care, or support role
• Current Level 1 First Aid Certificate
