Yarrawonga Health is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and support the delivery of high-quality financial planning, analysis, and advice across the organisation.

About the Role

The Finance Business Partner will work closely with managers and directors across Yarrawonga Health to provide insightful financial analysis, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive sound financial decisions that align with our organisational goals.

This role is central to ensuring that financial performance is clearly understood and effectively communicated, enabling continuous improvement and sustainable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing clear and timely reporting to management.
  • Partner with managers to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop and present financial insights, trends, and key performance indicators.
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports, and assist with external reporting requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and enhance decision-making.
  • Provide strategic advice and develop business cases for projects and investment initiatives.
  • Support project costing, funding reviews, and general ledger management.

About You

You are a proactive and collaborative finance professional who thrives on helping others understand and use financial information to make better business decisions. You enjoy analysing data, solving problems, and translating numbers into meaningful insights.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle FMIS, Magiq Powerbudget, Payglobal, and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:

  • Membership (or progress towards) CPA or CA qualification.
  • Experience in health or aged care finance environments.
