We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our Acute Ward team. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide safe and effective nursing care in line with professional standards, policies and procedures. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice
- Supporting the development and delivery of individualised care plans
- Completing assessments, clinical observations and accurate documentation
- Recognising and escalating changes in patient condition
- Maintaining infection control, safety and confidentiality standards
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals
Clinical staff work across a 24-hour roster, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
About You
You will have:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Ability to deliver safe, evidence-based and person-centred care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality and patient advocacy
Essential Criteria
- Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation, standards and best practice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment
Classification will be based on qualifications and experience.
