People and Workplace Trainer

Location: Yarrawonga, Victoria

This role works within the People & Culture team to deliver organisation-wide induction, manage our Learning Management System (Kineo), and ensure compliance with mandatory training. You’ll identify skills gaps, develop vocational pathways (including traineeships and apprenticeships), and connect staff with learning opportunities to support both their career goals and Yarrawonga Health’s workforce needs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading engaging orientation and induction programs for new staff.
  • Managing the Learning Management System (Kineo), including reporting and compliance.
  • Coordinating and promoting training opportunities across the organisation.
  • Facilitating workshops and creating a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Acting as a mentor and advisor for non-clinical staff career pathways.
  • Partnering with managers and external training providers to deliver meaningful development opportunities.
  • Identifying skills gaps and supporting vocational pathways such as apprenticeships and traineeships.

What you’ll bring

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or willingness to complete.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications and/or industry experience.
  • Confidence in presenting to large groups and facilitating workshops.
  • Strong organisation, time management, and communication skills.
  • High-level computer skills, ideally with experience in Learning Management Systems.
  • A commitment to role-modelling and promoting our organisational values.
