Yarrawonga Health is seeking a passionate and motivated Nursing Graduate Coordinator to lead and support our Transition to Practice Graduate Nurse Program.

Working closely with leadership teams and multidisciplinary professionals, you will foster a culture of learning and excellence while contributing to high-quality patient care across the organisation.
About the Role
As the Nursing Graduate Coordinator, you will oversee the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of Yarrawonga Health’s Graduate Nurse Program. From recruitment and onboarding through to clinical education, supervision, and development, you will help graduates build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to thrive in their careers.
You will also work closely with the Central Hume Graduate Nurse Program and regional health partners to strengthen collaborative learning opportunities and support best-practice graduate education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of the Transition to Practice Graduate Nurse Program
- Coordinate graduate recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities
- Deliver engaging education, training, and clinical support programs
- Support graduate nurses through mentoring, supervision, debriefing, and competency assessments
- Promote evidence-based clinical practice and continuous learning
- Collaborate with education teams, leadership, and external health partners
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and program evaluation
- Foster a positive learning culture that supports professional growth and excellence in patient care
About You
You are an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse who enjoys supporting and developing others. You bring strong clinical knowledge, leadership capability, and a collaborative approach to education and workforce development.
Essential Criteria
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum four years’ recent acute clinical experience
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and clinical skills education
- Proven ability to support, mentor, and supervise health professionals
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving capability
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualifications in clinical education, simulation, or related field (or working towards)
- Experience coordinating graduate recruitment, orientation, or education programs
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures
