As part of one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms, you’ll work across sectors including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Mission Critical, Aviation and Defence—gaining valuable experience and exposure to complex, multidisciplinary design environments.
What You’ll Do
As an Intermediate Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality hydraulic design solutions while developing your technical capability and project leadership skills. You will collaborate with a highly experienced team and contribute to projects from early design through to delivery.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing hydraulic systems including potable water, sanitary plumbing, stormwater, trade waste and gas
- Preparing technical drawings, documentation and specifications
- Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, fire, civil, architectural and structural disciplines
- Assisting with technical reviews and contributing to design problem‑solving
- Supporting senior engineers with project delivery and client engagement
- Providing input into BIM coordination and working with Revit/AutoCAD workflows
- Bringing a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to every project
About You
We’re looking for someone who is technically capable, eager to grow and excited to work across a diverse pipeline of projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or equivalent)
- 3–6 years’ experience in hydraulic building services design (consulting or D&C backgrounds welcome)
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements
- Familiarity with design and modelling tools such as Revit, AutoCAD and hydraulic design software
- Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Motivated to learn, contribute and take on increasing responsibility
